Hövding, the revolutionary invisible helmet could eventually change the way people move. Unlike conventional helmets, Hövding is worn around the neck as a collar. It can be bit clumsy, unstylish or even looks like an innovatively-designed neck pillow, but who cares about fashion when it comes to saving lives?
It uses sensors that constantly keep an eye on movement of the body. The sensors can sense any abnormality of behavior in movement of the body and the airbag will be triggered on impact. The inflation of the airbag takes one-tenth of a second and it gets fully inflated before the cyclist hits the ground.
