Stephen Hawking's doctoral thesis has been made publicly available online for the first time. The 119-page document submitted by then 24-year old Hawking is titled "Properties of an Expanding Universe", and covers several topics that have echoed through his career such as the origins of the universe, gravitational waves, and singularities.
The center of the earth is actually 2.5 years younger than its surface, and researchers say it all comes down to the effects of gravity as described by Einstein's theory of general relativity.
Gravitational waves have been detected by the twin LIGO detectors 100 years after Einstein's prediction. Detection also confirms the blacks holes are real.
Widely known as Einstein's Riddle, a number of reports suggest that 98% of the population will not be able to solve this riddle made by Einstein as a boy.
What do you think about this quote? Was Einstein right?
There is no great genius without a mixture of madness. That wasn't only claimed by Aristotle but modern science today, says so too. A high correlation has been observed between creativity and mental illness. People with schizophrenia, mood disorders, anxiety disorders and autism, tend to be very creative.
